Grant is a Senior Associate with the firm. Offering clients real
world experience, his primary focuses are international trade,
customs and port issues. His current projects include homeland
security regulation and legislation such as the Maritime Transportation
Security Act and the new Coast Guard maritime regulations. Prior
to joining JG&A, George was a partner with the MTC Group,
an international trade company, where he managed the marine equipment
division. His responsibilities included working directly with
ports and shipyards throughout South East Asia and South America,
and with the Export-Import Bank for a project in the Philippines.
During this period, George worked with the State of Washington’s
Department of Community, Trade and Economic Development counseling
local manufacturers on identifying and entering foreign markets
in an effort to increase the state’s exports. |
